Andy Murray has taken to twitter this evening following the resignation of Nicola Sturgeon.
In response to a tweet regarding the First Minister stepping down, the Scottish Tennis champ wrote: "Interesting vacancy.

The tweet has been liked by over 5k people, and re-tweeted hundreds of time.
Some commentors even agreed with the 35-year-old.

We previously reported that Nicola Sturgeon resigned today after eight years.
The First Minister made the announcement at a press conference at Bute House this morning, where she confirmed she will remain an MSP “until, certainly, the next election”.
