A student claimed she was groped by a man at a university event.
The 21-year-old stated she was approached from behind on a dance floor at the University of Glasgow's union.
She claimed that the man touched her lower back and then made further advances once she moved away from him.
The woman - who is studying to become an aeronautical engineer - claimed the man then touched her on the bum.
She added that the man then chased her for 10 seconds as she ran away.
Mohammed Dar, 22, of the city's Govan, is on trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court accused of sexual assault.
The court heard from the alleged victim who said that she attended an Indian society event on November 10 2021.
She stated that she was with two male friends at the Bollywood club night.
The woman said: "We were dancing at that moment.
"I felt someone approach me from behind and I felt someone's hand being placed on my waist to lower back."

The woman claimed she turned around and had "no idea" who the person was.
She stated that she moved to the side as the man was making her feel uncomfortable.
Prosecutor Redmond Harris asked the witness what happened after that.
She replied: "I felt the hand forcibly grab my waist restricting my movement to be able to dance.
"I tried to break free out of that and I felt his hand grab my bum and felt his hand move down my leg."
The woman stated that the man touched her over her clothing.
She claimed that she pushed through others on the dance floor to get away from the man.
The woman added: "I saw him coming closer and closer and he chased me through the area for around 10 seconds."

The witness stated that she informed her friends about what happened as well as security.
The woman claimed that she later pointed out the man she said was around 5'7 with dark features wearing a blue hoodie.
The trial continues in April before Sheriff Amel Elfallah.
