A VINTAGE clothing store in the city's West End has won a top award. 

G12 Vintage, which is located in Ruthven Lane, won Retailer of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Association Awards in Edinburgh on Thursday, February 16.

The shop, which stocks clothing for men and women, specialises in selling pre-loved and sustainable fashion. 

Bosses announced the win on Instagram with a post that read: "We are the @scottishfashionassociation Retailer of the Year."

Fans of the shop, which also sells clothing online, flooded the comments with congratulations. 

One person wrote: "Best in the business."

Another said: "So well deserved. You are amazing."

A third person added: "We love to see it. Very well deserved."
