A famous castle in West Dunbartonshire is due to reopen tomorrow.
As we have previously reported, Dumbarton Castle will open its door again tomorrow, following essential conversation work.
Visitors will once again be able to enjoy the iconic landmark, which once sheltered Mary, Queen of Scots before she fled to France.

Craig Mearns, Director of Operations at Historic Environment Scotland (HES), who looks after the site, said: “I am very pleased to announce that Dumbarton Castle is reopening this weekend, ahead of schedule.
"Our staff have been working very hard to get the castle ready for reopening and we very much look forward to once again welcoming visitors through the gates of this iconic fortress.”
Access was restricted at the start of last year as a safety precaution, while HES dealt with potentially unstable high-level masonry.
A few closures are still in place, including at the Spur Battery and ground-level restrictions around the base of the Rock.
