UPDATE: A 37-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged incident near a canal in Glasgow.
Police were called to the scene near Lochburn Road in Maryhill around 12.30pm on Monday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to assist a short time later and two firetrucks were sent to the scene around 12.36pm.
Police claim the man was wanted on a warrant and was arrested a short time later.
No further details were provided.
Emergency services have left the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Monday, February 20, officers attended in the Lochburn Road area of Glasgow in connection with a man wanted on a warrant.
"The 37-year-old was arrested a short time later.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.36pm on Monday, 20 February to assist emergency service partners at an incident near Sandbank Avenue, Glasgow, where a number of resources including two appliances were mobilised by Operations Control.
"Crews are no longer in attendance."
