Officers have increased patrols on roads in one area.
Police Scotland has announced the extra manpower in East Renfrewshire, which will aim to tackle speeding and drivers ignoring red lights.
The extra efforts will be in place for a few weeks.

On Twitter, the force said: "There will be increased Roads Policing officers in East Renfrewshire in the weeks ahead, tackling speeding, red light offences and roads policing issues in the locality.
"Your patience, if stopped, is appreciated."
