A man has been arrested following an alleged incident in Coatbridge.
Police officers on patrol near Woodside Street arrested and charged the 24-year-old in relation to the alleged possession of "an offensive weapon" and "a quantity of illegal substances".
The arrest was made on Monday, February 20.
No further details were provided by the force.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers from Coatbridge carrying out patrols in the Woodside Street area of Coatbridge have arrested and charged a 24-year-old male in relation to the possession of an offensive weapon and a quantity of illegal substances."
