A supermarket giant has opened a new store in Glasgow - and it is offering a range of special bargains for the occasion.
After months of preparation, Lidl has opened on Crow Road in Anniesland in the unit formerly occupied by Mothercare.
To celebrate the event, the first 100 customers were in line to win £100 vouchers.
From today, customers can get their hands on items at special prices including a Stand Mixer for £24.99, a Linear 3-piece saucepan set for £22.99 and a half-price Carrera GO Racetrack for £19.99.
The new premises features an in-store bakery and customer toilets with baby changing and will bring 40 jobs to the West End.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Gordon Rafferty, said: “We are thrilled to be officially opening the doors to our new Anniesland store on Crow Road.
"We look forward to welcoming in customers from across the local community to enjoy Lidl’s fantastic range of quality produce at affordable prices.”
Lidl Anniesland is located at 868 Crow Rd, Anniesland, Glasgow G13 1HU.
