Fire crews are at the scene of an ongoing incident in the North of Glasgow this evening.
Shortly before 4.30pm today, the alarm was raised after a blaze broke out on Gourlay Street in the city's Springburn.
It is understood that the fire took hold close to the site of the former Springburn Nursery.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service later confirmed that six vehicles and one height appliance raced to attend the scene where they remain now.
A SFRS spokesperson said: "We are currently in attendance at a building fire.
"There are six appliances and a height appliance at the scene.
"We received the initial call about the incident at 4.28pm."

Police have since said that the fire has been extinguished with no injuries reported as a result.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are assisting SFRS colleagues at the scene of a fire at a derelict building in the Gourlay Street area of Glasgow, which was reported around 4.45pm.
“The fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries reported, or any risk to the wider public.
"Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing.”
