A SEX offender who kept his past secret slept in the same house as a woman and a child.
Colin Carnie, 53, committed the crime at a property in Glasgow between January and April 2020.
Carnie befriended the witnesses who let him stay with them at the start of lockdown as he was lonely.

Carnie, of the city's Garthamlock, failed to adhere to his sex offenders register terms to notify police of staying at another address.
He resided with the witnesses for 14 nights before his offending came to light.
Carnie pleaded guilty on Friday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to breaching the notification requirements.
The court heard that Carnie visited the witnesses where he would play dominos and sometimes stay the night.
Prosecutor Heather Naismith said: "Due to Coronavirus restrictions, he was allowed to stay for 14 nights.
"The witnesses were unaware that he was a registered sex offender.
"While staying there, a witness stayed in a bed while other witnesses were in the living room area with a child in a cot.
"Carnie slept on a sofa with a camper bed."

A police check carried out noted that Carnie failed to carry out his notification arrangements.
Carnie was arrested where he stated to officers he was "unaware" of the requirements.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff John McCormick.
He said: "You stayed overnight with females and a child in a cot, and against the background of your convictions, for periods over those days without telling authorities, I'm not minded to continue bail and you will be remanded in custody."
