The Flying Scotsman began service on express trains between London and Scotland on February 24, 1923.
While the full-size locomotive has returned to the main line to tour the UK, visitors to the SEC this weekend can delight in a special layout featuring an OO gauge model of the Flying Scotsman.
The model will run throughout the show on a special layout depicting Lockerbie.

To assist visitors a vintage Glasgow Corporation bus provided by The Angus Transport Group will operate a shuttle service between the SEC and the city centre collecting passengers at George Square and Central Station.
