A 21-year-old man has died after sustaining serious injuries at a property in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.
Police were called to Coldstream Crescent around 9.25pm on Friday night following reports of a "disturbance".
A young man was found with serious injuries and he died a short time later.
A 34-year-old man has been charged with the alleged incident.
He is due to appear in court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.25pm on Friday, February 24, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance in Coldstream Crescent, Wishaw.
“Emergency services attended and a 21-year-old man was found with serious injuries. He died a short time later.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 27, 2023.”
