A GLASGOW theatre show has been developed into a new sitcom.
Dirty Water was performed to audiences in city theatres including Cottiers and Oran Mor before opening at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013, with reviewers describing it as “something a little bit different”.
Now the production has been adapted for television by Glasgow-based I Know a Guy Productions and is streaming on STV Player.

Dirty Water follows the antics of a group of cleaners working at the low-rent Eager Beaver Cleaning Company in Glasgow.
Leading the cast is Burnistoun's Kirsty Strain, who plays smart and cynical Kaitlin, and Robert O'Donnell as charming loudmouth Boab.
Joe Cassidy, one of the producers of the show, also plays eccentric optimist Crawford, while Mayflies and Shetland actor Stephen McCole will play pub landlord, Legend.
John Stuart, who stars as immature team leader Jock and who also created the series, said: “To see Dirty Water move from small theatre venues to STV Player is incredibly exciting, but also a little nerve-racking!
"I can only hope the show connects with an audience and this is just the beginning of the journey."
The first episode sees the Eager Beavers adapting to life under a belligerent new manager after Jock is suddenly demoted following a number of complaints.

Viewers will soon see that the characters will need more than a mop to clean up their sticky situations.
Richard Williams, managing director of digital at STV, said: “The behind-the-scenes story of Dirty Water, and its journey from small Glasgow theatres to streaming across the UK on STV Player, is inspiring – and shows the power of hard work, determination, and bucketloads of talent.
“This Scottish comedy caper is guaranteed to get our viewers giggling, and we’re delighted to be giving homegrown acting and production talent a bigger platform on which to shine.”
All episodes are available now on STV Player.
