A GLASGOW road has been closed by emergency services amid a police incident.
Cops were called to Edinburgh Road shortly before 6pm after two cars were involved in a collision.
The driver of one car has been taken to hospital while the other driver has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, 28 February, 2023, officers were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Edinburgh Road, Glasgow.
“One driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“One driver has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
The road has since reopened.
