A Glasgow restaurant has been recognised as one of the best in the UK by winning a prestigious award.
One Devonshire Gardens, which is located at the Hotel du Vin in the city’s West End, has been awarded three AA rosettes.
Described as offering modern classic bistro dining, inspectors felt the restaurant stood out for its high-quality ingredients and “consistently excellent flavour combinations”.

Venues which are given three AA rosettes are deemed to be outstanding in that they achieve standards that demand recognition on a national level.
An AA inspector said: “One Devonshire Gardens is in fact a row of four Victorian townhouses, built from mellow golden sandstone and set in an extremely desirably and leafy location in the west end of the city.
“This is a properly luxurious boutique hotel with a dining room to match.
“Wine is an important part of the equation here, and knowledgeable staff will guide you around the impressive wine list, while the kitchen continues to aim high and resoundingly hit that target.
“Menus are very seasonal, with plenty of Scottish produce (from Kilbrannan langoustines to Newtonmore roe deer and more) in the technically adept modern dishes.”

Simon Numphud is the managing director at AA Media, which operates the AA Rosette scheme.
He said: “This year we’ve seen an exceptional level of culinary excellence demonstrated by those receiving our coveted AA Rosettes, and One Devonshire Gardens by Hotel du Glasgow is no exception.
“I’m constantly inspired by the resilience, innovation, and quality demonstrated by these trailblazers in our industry, and Scotland is lucky to be home to such an impressive restaurant.
“Congratulations to all the worthy winners.”
