Glasgow's largest street art festival is set to return this spring with an exciting new opening.

Yardworks Festival at SWG3 celebrates all things street art and graffiti with special activities planned for the whole family.

The three-day event will return to the West End from May 5-7, showcasing the work of over 100 artists for its fifth year.

Over the first weekend in May, attendees can enjoy the open-air art gallery and watch artists paint murals in the Galvanizer's Yard with an array of street food, drinks, art workshops, and activities throughout.

Youngsters can take part in the Mini Manoeuvres disco or enjoy face-painting and skateboarding at an indoor half-pipe.

This year's festival also marks the launch of the new Yardworks Studio, an innovative purpose-built workspace for hundreds of artists and community organisations.

Gary Mackay, also known as Gaz Mac, SWG3 studio director and co-founder of Yardworks, said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing the festival back in 2023 with another cutting-edge programme that will be sure to delight and entertain audiences of all ages.

"Yardworks has developed into a world-class event that presents an abundance of local and international talent, and is widely regarded as an unmissable weekend for anyone who is a fan of street art, creativity and culture.”

Weekend tickets cost £10 and day tickets cost £6, under-16s going free.
