CCTV images have been released after an assault in Glasgow city centre.
It occurred at around 11.40pm on Saturday, January 28 on Gordon Street near where it meets Buchanan Street.
The victim was rushed to hospital after being attacked.
Now officers investigating the incident have released images of a man they feel may help with their enquiries.
He is described as white, between 20 and 25 years of age, with short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark blue jacket, a blue polo shirt, dark blue jeans and white trainers.
Detective Constable Graham Nicolson of CID said: “The victim required hospital treatment following this serious attack.
“I would urge the man or anyone who has information relating to the man in the image to make contact with the police.”
