COMEDY fans are being treated to free bus travel this spring as part of a new partnership.
First Bus has joined the Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF) 2023 to make this year's event more affordable and accessible.
Anyone attending a festival event can access free bus travel to and from shows.
The comedy festival takes place across the city at various venues between March 15 and April 2.

Graeme Macfarlan, commercial director at First Bus Scotland, said: “We’re proud to be playing our role in helping to make our city’s celebrated comedy festival more affordable and accessible for everyone.
“Our partnership with the festival will allow us to reach a wider audience to further encourage people to choose public transport as their preferred method of travel.
"We look forward to welcoming comedy fans on board our buses later this month and beyond."

Krista MacDonald, director of Glasgow International Comedy Festival, said: “We are delighted to be launching this exciting partnership with First Bus that offers everyone the opportunity to attend our events easier than ever before.
“We have an amazing line-up of shows throughout the festival and everyone who buys a ticket will receive a free day ticket to use on First Bus services.
"This means they can travel to and from the venue with ease while also doing their bit to reduce their environmental impact."
To officially launch the partnership, Scott Agnew presented a special edition of the GICF official podcast, recorded on a First Bus, taking in the sights of the city with special guests Two Doors Down’s Kieran Hodgson, Weegie Hink Ae That?!, Raymond Mearns, Leah MacRae and Elaine Malcolmson.
