The closing date for a popular Wetherspoons pub has been confirmed.
We previously reported that pub bosses had made a move to close the Sir John Stirling Maxwell in the city's Shawlands at some point this month, though no specific date was mentioned.
Wetherspoons spokesperson Eddie Gershon previously told the Glasgow Times that the pub would not trade after March 26 but "we cannot, as yet, confirm the final trading day."

Wetherspoons has since confirmed that the pub will be closed as of Monday, March 13, with the last trading day for customers being Sunday, March 12.
No staff will be made redundant and all have been offered positions at other Wetherspoons pubs.
