A RETAILER on Glasgow's Buchanan Street has applied for permission to set up a seating area on the footpath.
Lush, located at 98 Buchanan Street, submitted the application with Glasgow City Council.
If successful, the cosmetics company would be able to seat 30 people from 10am until 10pm every day.
Plans outline two areas in front of the shop, where the tables and chairs would be, on both sides of the entrance.
A "satisfactory minimum clear footway" will remain on the busy street.
