A NEW bar and restaurant is set to open in the West End this month.
The Skillet is a new concept from the team behind The Square Bar and Restaurant in Broomhill Square.
Taking over the former unit of coffee shop Absolute Roasters, The Skillet will be a family and dog-friendly restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with speciality cocktails and a designated kids menu.
A spokesperson for The Square wrote in an Instagram post: "Updates on opening will be posted soon.
"Brand new restaurant, wine and cocktail bar on Hyndland St in Glasgow’s West End.
"See you there!"

Menu items include a range of dishes like goat cheese bon bons, sesame prawn toast, steaks, chicken, homemade gnocchi and linguini.
A spokesperson from The Skillet announced the new eatery on Instagram.
They wrote: "Brand new For Glasgow’s West End. Opening by the end of March 2023.
"Keep an eye out on our Instagram for more details. Follow our refurbishment journey and find out when we’re opening.
"The Skillet Restaurant, wine and cocktail bar, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, good vibes! You’ll soon find us at 70 Hyndland Street in the West End of Glasgow.
"The perfect spot to enjoy great food and drinks with friends and family.
"Just a very short walk from Hillhead (Byres Road), Kelvinhall or Hyndland underground stations.
"Tables just for drinks are absolutely welcome. Full bar area available.
"Walk-ins welcome. Enjoy our range of delicious signature and classic cocktails, negroni menu, and wine list, plus a range of spirits, beers, ciders and soft drinks.
"Kids menu, dog-friendly, on-street parking, Wi-Fi."
The new restaurant will be open Wednesday to Sunday with last dinner bookings at 9pm and a late-night bar.
They added: "We can't wait to see you."
