The UK Government has given out advice on who is eligible for five cost of living payments, due to start next month.
People may be able to get up to five extra payments if they’re getting certain benefits or tax credits.
There are three Cost of Living Payments of £301, £300 and £299 over the next financial year, with the first due in April.

People who get any of the following benefits or tax credits may be eligible.
Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Income Support
Pension Credit
Universal Credit
Child Tax Credit
Working Tax Credit
Payment of the cost of living payments will depend on whether people received the above benefits on qualifying dates, which will be announced soon.
The cost of living payment will be made separately from benefit payments.
A Disability Cost of Living Payment of £150 will be paid to people who got any of the following benefits on qualifying dates.

Personal Independence Payment
Adult Disability Payment (in Scotland)
Child Disability Payment (in Scotland)
Armed Forces Independence Payment
War Pension Mobility Supplement
Older people who are entitled to a Winter Fuel Payment for winter 2023 to 2024, will get an extra £150 or £300 Pensioner Cost of Living payment paid with the normal payment from November 2023.
