Cops are carrying out extensive searches for a young man who has been missing for almost a month.

Kal Clarke was last seen at around 9pm on Sunday, February 19 at Loch Loyal, East Kilbride.

The 24-year-old has not been seen or heard from since and his family is extremely worried as his disappearance is seen as very out of character for him.

Glasgow Times:

He is described as being around 5ft. 11 inches in height, with short, brown hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a grey hooded top, blue polo shirt, grey jeans, a black body warmer and black and white trainers.

He was also carrying a grey-coloured rucksack.

Glasgow Times:

Kal has travelled to Glasgow city centre and the West End in the past so cops are working with travel operators to gather more information on his whereabouts.

Sergeant Scott Anderson said: “It is totally out of character for Kal not to be in touch with his mum, his family and his friends and that fact that no-one has seen him or heard from him is giving us cause for concern.

"His family is understandably extremely concerned and just want to know he is safe and well. If anyone has seen Kal or has any knowledge as to his whereabouts, please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 4181 of February 20, 2023.
