A teenager was reportedly caught with a weapon after a police chase.
Cops were called to an alleged disturbance in Lindum Street in Motherwell on Saturday evening.
They then arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy and recovered an offensive weapon.
A spokesperson for Lanarkshire Police said: "At 7.30pm on March 11, 2023, Response officers attended a report of a disturbance in Lindum Street, Motherwell.
"Following a chase, a 16-year-old male was charged and an offensive weapon recovered.
"The use of CCTV has secured this arrest and removed a weapon from within our communities."
