Miss Stevens told the court that Murray was seen to speak to Mr McLelland before driving away.

Police were contacted and officers found the victim on the ground with a bleeding head wound and a towel on it.
Murray was pointed out to police meantime by a witness.
He was seen brandishing an item which was later recovered to be half of a garden sheer.
Murray was then arrested.
