Sir Rod Stewart has given fans an update on his tour after cancelling a gig due to illness.
The 78-year-old was set to perform at Mt. Duneed Estate in Geelong last week as part of his The Hits! Australia Tour 2023 but was forced to bow out after developing a viral infection.
Now the Maggie May singer has revealed that his show in Adelaide on Tuesday is going ahead as normal.
Dressed in a Celtic top, Rod told his followers in a video message that he had strep throat but is now able to perform.
It comes after we reported that the Hoops daft singer had displayed a huge backdrop of manager Ange Postecoglou during his show in Melbourne last week.
He shared a photo of the impressive dedication on Instagram, writing: "Nice to be in your hometown, Ange!"
