A black luxury car was stolen from a driveway in Cumbernauld.
Officers were alerted after the incident took place on Tintock Place, between midnight on Monday, March 20, and 4.40am on Tuesday, March 21.
It is believed the BMW X6 may have been driven to the Arns Road area of the town.
Police officers are asking anyone with information to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Jim Williamson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
“Enquiries so far show that those responsible arrived at the location in another car.
“Anyone who was driving in the area at the time who has dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries is asked to get in touch. We are also keen to speak to anyone with private CCTV footage.
“In addition, we are keen to speak to anyone in the Arns Road area between the time the BMW was taken and 8.10 am on Tuesday, March 21, who may have seen it.”
