The Glasgow Subway is offering youngsters free travel for two weeks this spring.
To make travelling around the city over the Easter holidays more accessible, kids under 16 will be able to board without charge from April 1 to 15.
Adults can travel all day across the Subway's 15 stations for £3 with a Smartcard.
A spokesperson for SPT said: "This makes the Subway an even more affordable and convenient option for families to explore everything Glasgow has to offer during the school holidays."
The Subway covers the city centre, West End, and parts of the Southside with access to many of the city's attractions.
The transport firm has designed Subway Explorers Trails to help those looking for ideas.
There are four to choose from:
- Active Explorers – get their blood pumping with an action-packed day out starting at Kelvin Hall followed by a trip to North Woodside Pool and then finish things off at Laser Quest on the Southside.
- Art Explorers – start at Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), then onto Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum before heading to House of an Art Lover to end the trail.
- Museum Explorers – starts at The Tenement House, then heads to the West End to visit The Hunterian Museum before finishing up at The Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship.
- Science and Nature Explorers – begins at the Science Centre, then head of for some nature watching at Glasgow Botanic Gardens followed by Glasgow Green and the People’s Palace.
