The Michelin Guide 2023 has been revealed with two Glasgow restaurants maintaining their star status.

Cail Bruich on Great Western Road was awarded a star rating for the third time, having been first awarded a star in 2021.

Unalome by Graeme Cheevers on Kelvingrove Street also retained its star rating, which it has held since 2022.

The Bib Gourmand, an 'esteemed rating' that commends restaurants that serve good food at moderate prices was dished out to several other restaurants in the city.

Celentano's in the Cathedral House Hotel, Ka Pao on Vinicombe Street, and Ox and Finch on Sauchiehall Street received the accolade.

Monadh Kitchen in Bearsden was also presented with the Bib Gourmand.

Several restaurants shared the exciting news across social media.

A spokesperson for Ox and Finch wrote: "9-in-a-row!

"An announcement we will never be tired of making: Ox and Finch has retained its Bib Gourmand in 2023, marking a 9th year in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.

"We're delighted to share the news and applaud our team for their hard work in achieving this honour."

Ka Pao, which is operated under the same ownership, also shared the news.

They wrote: "Michelin 2023!

"After a very big year and a lot of hard graft from our super team, we are thrilled to have retained Ka Pao Glasgow's Bib Gourmand Award for a second year!

"We are so chuffed to be included in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland for 2023.

"Cheers Team!"
