CCTV images of a man have been released following an assault on board a train.
British Transport Police believe he may have information that will help with their ongoing investigation.
The assault took place around 7.55pm on Thursday, December 8, 2022, on board the 7.30pm train service from Glasgow Central Station to Barassie Station.
The man pictured is described as white, 50-60, with short brown/grey hair and unshaven.
He was wearing a brown coat, grey hooded jumper, dark blue jeans and brown boots. He also wore a blue and white striped beanie hat.
Detective Constable Martin Graham, of British Transport Police CID, said: “I would urge the man pictured or anyone who has any information relating to him, to contact police.
"I would also encourage anyone who may have witnessed or has any further information about this incident to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 2200128141.”
