A LEGENDARY comic book artist will appear at a signing in the city centre this weekend.
Glasgow-born Frank Quitely will be at Forbidden Planet on Saturday signing his new book The Ambassadors.
It comes after he joined with comic book creator Mark Millar to launch the first of six issues of The Ambassadors in March.

The series features the work of artists including Olivier Coipel, Travis Charest, Matteo Buffagni and Karl Kerschl.
Quitely, who has worked on DC Comics titles including Superman, Batman and Marvel's New X-men, amongst many others, was born Vincent Deighan in 1968.
He received an honorary doctorate in 2017 from Glasgow University in recognition of his achievements.
He also created the Superman mural which is located inside Sauchiehall Street's Forbidden Planet.

A spokesperson for the store said: "We are so excited to be welcoming the legend of the art world to our store – Frank Quitely, who is also behind the amazing Superman mural in our store.
"Frank will be chatting to you and signing his work on Saturday, April 1, from 3pm.
"Whether you know him from the big hits such as Superman, X-Men or Batman (to name a few!), pop in and have a fun time surrounded with fellow comic fans.
"Frank will also be promoting his brand new comic The Ambassadors, which has launched this month, with a checklist of white-hot artists handling each of the six interconnected issues.
"The lineup of these artists includes Olivier Coipel, Travis Charest, Matteo Buffagni, Karl Kerschl and Matteo Scalera—a wish list for any comic book fan."
Frank Quitely will be at Forbidden Planet on Sauchiehall Street on Saturday, April 1 at 3pm.
