A world-famous DJ and producer has spoken of his love for Glasgow clubs ahead of an 'intimate' performance in Bishopton next month.
Judge Jules, real name Julius O'Riordan, will play one of his 'smallest gigs yet' at the Ingliston Estate and Country Club on Saturday, May 6 in front of a crowd of just 500 at the venue's Grand Marquee.
The show will feature 90 minutes of iconic anthems which have defined the former Radio 1 DJ's career performed alongside a live ten-piece band.
The party won't stop there with a further set from Judge Jules himself planned to last until 1am.
Ahead of the gig, which will take place just 20 minutes outside of Glasgow, the dance music star has shared his appreciation for Scottish crowds and some of the city's finest clubs past and present.
He said: "Jules said: “Scottish crowds know their music and I can’t wait to play such an intimate venue at Ingliston.
"It’s taken eighteen months to put together, and I’ve created my own bespoke versions of my all-time favourite records with a specially selected band and lots of special visuals too.
“I first played Scotland at the now demolished Glasgow Plaza before playing the Sub Club and legendary Arches.
"I’ve always loved it here and love to see the whites of people's eyes when I’m playing.
"You just get in the zone.”
Looking forward to hosting the one-of-a-kind performance Lynne McDermott, sales and events manager at Ingliston, added: “Judge Jules is a big name who I’ve worked with before in Ibiza and Dubai, and he knows how to party.
"Our brand new Grand Marquee will welcome all sorts of special events and fantastic international acts into Renfrewshire, over the coming months."
