A POPULAR singer has become a record-breaking artist following sales for his Glasgow show.
Dermot Kennedy, best known for tracks Outnumbered and Giants, has broken the record for tickets sold for a single show at the OVO Hydro.

The news comes ahead of the 31-year-old's sold-out show at the popular Glasgow venue tonight.
Taking to Twitter to reveal the news, the Hydro wrote: "Dermot Kennedy has officially broken the record for tickets sold for a single show at the OVO Hydro which is just about to kick off and we cannot wait!
"Sending a huge OVO Hydro congratulations to you Dermot."

With over 14,000 tickets sold, Kennedy, from Ireland, shared his excitement, saying: "What a way to start the UK leg of this tour!!
"Things like this are not lost on me. Thank you, thank you, thank you, let's make tonight special."
