POLICE have provided an update after a person was spotted on train tracks in Glasgow.
We reported on Monday morning that an alleged 'trespasser' was spotted on the line near Priesthill and Darnley.
Scotrail services between Glasgow Central and Barrhead were disrupted due to the incident.
Transport police were called to the scene around 7.30am but could not locate anyone after searching the area.
An investigation has been launched following the incident.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “We were called to Priesthill and Darnley station at 7.33am on April 3 to reports of a trespasser on the line.
"Officers attended and conducted a search of the area, however, no one was located.
"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
