JUST IN: Police have provided an update on the incident.
Police have sealed off a large section of a major Southside road due to an ongoing incident.
UPDATE: A man has been rushed to hospital.
A cordon has been set up on Pollokshaws Road by the force.
Glasgow City Council has confirmed the road is closed between Titwood Road and Queen Square, next to Queen's Park.
A Traffcom Bulletin read: "Pollokshaws Road is completely closed to all traffic between Titwood Road and Queen Square due to an ongoing police incident.
"Road users should avoid the area if possible and seek an alternate route."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
