UPDATE: Police have issued a new statement.
A man has been rushed to hospital amid a serious ongoing incident in the Southside.
The 29-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following a "disturbance" at Queen's Park.
We previously reported that Pollokshaws Road was closed off between Titwood Road and Queen's Square around 6pm on Monday evening.
The entire area, including Queen's Park, has been locked down by the force.
Police Scotland did not confirm the nature of the "disturbance".
The condition of the man is unknown.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, with officers pleading for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the disorder to come forward.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 6pm on Monday, April 3, 2023, officers received a report of a disturbance at Queen’s Park, Glasgow.
“A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 2734 of March 3, 2023."
