A Glasgow primary school and care home have teamed up to better the local community.
Pupils at St Michael's Primary School recently held a food drive, to raise goods for Haydale Care Home's foodbank, the 'Corbett community cupboard'.

The foodbank, which is run by staff and residents, offers tinned goods and dry foods, as well as clothes and toiletries to families or individuals in the area who need a helping hand.
Care home residents Anne McGibbon, 56, and Nicola Jamieson, 46, went along to the Parkhead school to meet the children and accept the donation.

The pair were 'absolutely amazed' by the volume of foodstuffs that had been collected.
Paul Lawson, customer relations manager, said: "We want to say a huge thank-you to Mrs Barbour and the children in the Pope Francis Faith Awards group who organised the collection, and an extra special thank-you to all those who donated.
"Your generosity will give a much-needed helping hand to dozens of families in Glasgow's East End.
"The Residents will spend hours sorting and packing the donations into the food bank and they get a lot of joy from organising and lending a hand to the local community.
"The children and the residents are always happy to see each other and we could see that from all the smiles and friendly chat when we visited the school.
"Mrs Barbour is going to bring some of the children along to the foodbank after the Easter holidays to help out and we are really looking forward to welcoming them and letting them meet some more of our wonderful residents."
The foodbank can be found at the care home on Corbett Street in Tollcross and is open every Tuesday from 10am till 12pm.
Anyone is welcome to the foodbank, no questions are asked.
If you would like to make a donation, collection points are available at the Care Home or the Co-op store on Tollcross Road.
