THE Big Feed has announced a 'big move'.

The popular Govan street food market will be moving to a new location in the East End.

Sharing the news on its Facebook page, a Big Feed spokesperson wrote: "Looks like the cat is out the bag...

"We’ve had an incredible time in Govan over the years but just wait till you see what we have planned for all of our Big Feed family over at our new home at Golf It.

"Adventure golf, driving range, huge picnic garden along with all your favourite independent street food traders.

"We’ve even got Big Feed’s and Scotland’s favourite Rainbow Twisters every weekend."

The Glasgow Times previously reported that Golf It!, a community-based leisure attraction, would be opening on the side of Hogganfield Loch in the summer.

The new Big Feed location is around six miles away from the market's Govan Road location.

One person commented on the social media post: "What a strange move, middle of nowhere."

Another added: "Way too far for us."

One customer said: "Moving pretty far out of the way."

Some were looking forward to the new location.

"Close to my house now!" said one person.

Another wrote: "Looks like Big Feed is moving with us - it'll be just around the corner."
