A MAN has been taken to hospital following a 'serious assault' in Glasgow this weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday, April 8 at around 11.25pm in the East End's Gallowgate.

The nature of the incident is unknown, but a 26-year-old has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are currently ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to Gallowgate, Glasgow, around 11.25pm on Saturday, April 8, following a report of a serious assault.
"A 26-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
