A 69-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after colliding with a car while on his bike.
The incident happened around 12.15pm on the A749 Glasgow Road in East Kilbride on Monday, April 10.
The cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.

The car involved in the crash was a red Suzuki Alto car. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Now, the force are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Sergeant Gemma Blackadder of the Road Policing Unit in Lanarkshire said: "Our enquiries to establish the circumstances which led to this collision are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may be able to help to come forward.
"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 1477 of April, 10 2023."
