A PLANNING application has been submitted to the council to serve hot food from a shipping container near a Glasgow shop.
A 95 sq m area next to a convenience store on Acre Road, in Summerston, could be home to the takeaway.
The eatery would be attached to the shop and serve hot rolls, chips, cold drinks and more.
If the bid is successful, the documents state that the business would cater to the existing store's audience, which includes local schoolchildren and people from the nearby business park.
The application was submitted by Rabnawaz Hussain and Glasgow City Council is expected to make a decision by Thursday, May 25.
