A MAN was abusive to police after being asked to leave Celtic Park.
Gerard Duffy, 31, made an offensive gesture to officers on September 6, 2022.
The Hoops were hosting Spanish giants Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
Ange Postecoglou's side would go on to lose 0-3.
Court papers state Duffy, of Belfast, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at the match.
It is stated that he refused to leave the stadium after being ejected.
It is then he made the gesture to the police, acted in an aggressive manner and uttered derogatory remarks.
Duffy pleaded guilty to the single charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The offence is aggravated by prejudice relating to disability.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month where more information regarding the circumstances will be heard.
