Photos and videos circulating on social media appear to show huge clouds of smoke rising from the building as fire crews attempt to extinguish the flames.
It is understood that a police presence is also in place.
The team behind Bullfrog announced that the bar would be closing due to 'spiralling' costs in November last year.
The pub is said to have been a favourite of former Celtic player Kieran Tierney.
