A man has been rushed to hospital following a 'serious' assault in Hamilton.
The incident occurred on Monday, April 17 around 5.45pm on Earnock Street.
Emergency services attended and a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The force remain in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.45pm on Monday, April 17, police were made aware of a serious assault of a man on Earnock Street, Hamilton.
"Emergency services attended and a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Officers remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing."
