A Glasgow community has been left enraged after multiple fires at an empty building.

After at least two fires were reported at the property people living nearby are concerned for people's safety.

The former Davislea Nursing Home site, based on Mallaig Road in Drumoyne, has recently been hit with a 'couple' of fires spanning from Thursday, April 20 to Monday, April 24.

The incidents were flagged on Monday on a Facebook community page and later confirmed by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Glasgow City Council.

The latest fire was on Monday evening when fire crews put out a blaze and made the property safe.

Now, the community in the south west of the city is hitting out over the reoccurring events.

Adding to the original post which flagged the incident, one user wrote "absolutely disgusting" while others commented "shocking", "what is wrong with people?" and "wee rats".

And some are even calling for action to be taken, with one user writing: "Think housing should demolish it before someone gets killed."
