The body of a man found during a search of Mugdock Reservoir yesterday has been formally identified as David Yates.
Yates, 36, was wanted in connection with the murder of his partner Marelle Sturrock, 35, who was found dead at her home on Jura Street in Glasgow on Tuesday, April 25.
Police have today confirmed that an investigation is ongoing, however, there is nothing to suggest anyone else was involved in her death.
Yates's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
Officers are said to be providing specialist support to both families at this 'incredibly difficult' time.
