Student flats could be built in the place of an office building in Glasgow city centre.
An application was submitted to Glasgow City Council to demolish a vacant property and build student accommodation in its place.
The development would be at 292-298 St Vincent Street, in the city centre.
Previously, the Glasgow Times reported that a bid for a hotel was accepted on this site, then withdrawn.
After this, plans for 248 serviced apartments were submitted.
Now, Artisan Blythswood Ltd is hoping to go ahead with the newest plans.
If successful, the building will be managed by Homes for Students and will contain 321 self-contained studio apartments.
It will also provide a dedicated reception and management office, and student amenities including a TV lounge, common room, study rooms and laundrette.
The facility would not have any dedicated parking spaces but would allow up to 160 bikes to be stored.
The application is currently pending with Glasgow City Council and they are expected to make a decision by Friday, August 25.
The last day for comments is Friday, May 26.
