A Glasgow MSP is celebrating two decades of service by hosting a cycling event.
Pedal with Patrick will mark Patrick Harvie's anniversary in office today.
Organised by local charity Bike For Good, the ride will cover approximately five miles, starting at Glasgow Green and making several stops to highlight the area's beauty and history.
The politician said: "I’m delighted to be collaborating with Bike for Good Glasgow on this event.
"It’s no secret that I enjoy cycling around Glasgow and this is a great way for constituents to enjoy the outdoors and ask questions about the 20 years I’ve spent representing Glasgow in the Scottish Parliament."
Participants will be able to join on their own bicycles or borrow one from the charity's library.
Gregory Kinsman-Chauvet, CEO of Bike for Good Glasgow, said: "We're thrilled our charity will be supervising this ride in honour of Patrick Harvie’s 20 years of service. It's an excellent opportunity to celebrate his service to Glasgow while promoting the benefits of cycling."
Bike for Good Glasgow is a cycling charity and social enterprise dedicated to enabling people to ride a bike.
