Emergency services raced to a busy city centre street this afternoon after a pedestrian was reportedly hit by a car.
Shortly after 3pm, police and ambulance crews were called to Ingram Street following a report of a collision.
The force proceeded to fully lock down the road between Glassford Street and Montrose Street for around half an hour with drivers advised to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 3.05pm on Friday, May 5 we were called to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car on Ingram Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services are in attendance."
There has been no further information regarding any injuries at this time.
