A MAN has been reported after police stopped his car and found he was driving with no insurance or MOT.
The 40-year-old was pulled over on Tuesday by officers on Irvine Street in Greenock, during proactive patrols.
The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Whilst carrying out proactive patrols in Greenock, on the morning of Tuesday, May 9, officers stopped a car on Irvine Street for routine checks.
"The 40-year-old male driver was charged in connection with road traffic offences and will be reported to the procurator fiscal.”
